Continuum
A meditation on transformation — where time, memory, and nature converge into something both familiar and imagined.
Artist Statement
Nature is not a subject. It is a presence, a collaborator, a guide.
"My work unfolds in the space where time, memory, and nature converge. Through photography, painting, and layered processes of transformation, I follow traces of the visible world, allowing them to dissolve and re-emerge as something both familiar and imagined.
Nature is not merely a subject within my practice — it is a presence, a collaborator, and a guide. I am drawn to its quiet intelligence, its cycles of growth and decay, its endless capacity for renewal. In a time when this delicate balance is increasingly threatened, creating becomes an act of witness and devotion: a way of honoring what sustains us and reflecting on our place within it.
Each work begins with observation but moves beyond representation. Colors shift, forms drift, and landscapes are reassembled through intuition and memory. I seek not to recreate nature as it appears, but to evoke how it lingers within us — its rhythms, its mysteries, its enduring force.
In this continuum of seeing and becoming, the work offers a meditation on transformation, inviting us to remember that the natural world is both our origin and our greatest masterpiece."
